We have a few treasured spots

We have a few treasured spots
we love taking the boat to.

One of them is up towards Port Colborne.
We park on the west street wall—
enjoy a meal,
wander a little,
take in the local charm.

Other times,
we head straight to Sandy Beach.

Like we did here.
No agenda,
just sunshine,
good company,
and the sound of the waves.

Because sometimes,
the best days
are the simplest ones.
