22 years in this business — and I’m still learning what truly matters.
Here’s a reminder I needed this week… and maybe you do too.

I’ve always done my best to stay in touch with past clients.
But as the years go on and the database grows, it gets harder.
Not because I don’t care — but because time moves fast and business is full.

A few months ago, I ran into a client I hadn’t seen since their closing.
It was a tough transaction, and while I followed up early on,
I didn’t go back.

And they let me know they noticed.
They felt… forgotten.

I didn’t get defensive.
I got reflective.

Since then, I’ve made it a point to reconnect —
Even if it’s just stopping by.
Even if the deal had bumps.

Because the truth is:
People want to feel remembered.
Not just at the sale —
but after.

💬 If you’re in any service business — real estate, sales, or support —
don’t underestimate the power of circling back.
They’ll appreciate it more than you know.
Follow for more real-life reflections from the heart of real estate.
