I don’t know if you ever did this…

I don’t know if you ever did this…
but I used to wait for the weekly grocery flyer and plan meals around whatever was on sale.

And when the one thing I really wanted wasn’t discounted?
I’d think, maybe next week.

Sometimes it came on sale.
Sometimes it didn’t.
Sometimes it was seasonal and never showed up again.

Planning strictly around sales can limit your options — unless you’re extremely flexible.

Buying a home can feel the same way.

When inventory is tight in a specific price range, buyers may only see one or two homes that fit. The instinct is to wait for something better to come along.

But just like groceries, sometimes it does… and sometimes it doesn’t.

When I was cooking for my whole family, I learned to plan around what was available and affordable at that time — not future discounts.

Real estate works the same way.

Understanding current inventory and your true affordability helps you move forward with clarity instead of waiting on what might appear next.

Momentum comes from working with what’s in front of you.
