Whether we’re out for dinner or barbecuing at home, a good burger is one of our go-to meals.
And if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you probably already know how much we love French onion soup.
So when I came across a recipe for a French Onion Burger, there was no way we weren’t trying it.
And it did not disappoint.
The secret?
Just like a great French onion soup, it all comes down to the onions.
Slowly caramelized.
No rushing.
No shortcuts.
The kind of cooking that fills the house with amazing smells and makes you impatient for dinner.
The sweet onions, the juicy burger, and all those French onion flavours came together perfectly.
Definitely one that’s going into the regular rotation around here.
