Some days you feel like it. Some days you don’t.
The funny thing is, the days I least feel like moving are often the days I need it the most.
A walk.
A workout.
A round of golf.
Working in the garden.
Anything that gets me moving.
I’ve learned over the years that motivation is unreliable.
It comes and goes.
Habits are what carry you through.
Not every day is going to feel productive.
Not every day is going to feel easy.
But I’ve never regretted getting up and moving.
Sometimes it’s about physical strength.
Sometimes it’s about clearing your head.
And sometimes it’s simply about proving to yourself that you’re capable of doing hard things, even when you’d rather stay comfortable.
Life takes energy.
The more I move, the more energy I seem to have for everything else that matters.
Today’s reminder:
You don’t have to do everything.
Just keep moving.
