Some transactions take weeks.

Some transactions take weeks.
Some take months.
And some feel like they become part of your daily life.

Over the next few days, I’ll be closing on a couple of transactions that have been nearly eight months in the making.

The funny thing is, it has very little to do with the price point.

Some deals simply require more patience.

More conversations.

More problem-solving.

More perseverance.

When you’re in the middle of these situations, everyone feels it.

Clients can become frustrated.
Professionals can become frustrated.
Sometimes the path forward feels unclear.

But today, as I look toward the finish line, I find myself feeling grateful.

Not just because these transactions are finally coming together.

But because I still have the energy to see them through.

The willingness to keep showing up.

The grit to keep working toward a solution when the easy answer would be to give up.

The older I get, the more I appreciate that success isn’t always about the quick wins.

Sometimes it’s simply about staying the course.
