Summer in Fort Erie… ☀️
This is what we look forward to all winter
Time on the water
with family
with friends
and no real plan
Over the years, Alex and I have gotten a little more adventurous on the boat
Now we’ll head over to Buffalo for dinner
and back the same night
and sometimes we stay at the marina for a few days
Here’s a look at the energy from one of those trips last year
When we head home,
Alex always likes to park the boat
and we take a few minutes to just float
Before pulling into the dock
We also head up to Port Colborne to see family —
from our boat club it’s about 20 minutes either way
It’s easy
it’s simple
and it’s part of everyday life here
You don’t have to go far
to feel like you’ve stepped away
Life is good
and even better on Lake Erie
