🍻 Foodie Friday Detour — and I’m glad we did.
I usually stick to my regular spots — it’s familiar, it’s easy.
But after a quick Costco run with Alex (yes, we’re “on holiday”… Realtor style 😅), we heard about a local brewery just up the road and decided to check it out.
We sat at the bar, shared a flight of beers, Thai cauliflower bites, and crispy brussels sprouts. 🍺🌶️🥦
Watched the Calgary Stampede — something I probably wouldn’t have turned on at home — and really enjoyed every minute.
It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t fancy.
But it was good — and a great reminder that sometimes the best stories come from unplanned stops.
📍 Definitely a spot we’ll be back to.
