Amsterdam — on a recent trip.
Alex and I joined some friends for three days.
The weather was mild, and we walked for miles along the canals.
Everybody rides bikes.
You have to be very mindful — they’re everywhere and move quickly.
Tons of green foliage.
I found myself noticing the window boxes and pots outside almost every home.
It felt like a breath of fresh air compared to our winter scenery back home.
The canals at night were lit beautifully.
Every street seems to have one.
They are everywhere and shape the entire city.
I tried to photograph the food to share with you.

I loved all the shops — so many to explore.
I didn’t buy anything since we travel with carry-on only, but it was still fun to look.
